Sales Administrator

We now have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the company as a Sales Administrator in our new facility in Bedford. This role involves taking responsibility for all administrative functions within the branch including order processing, customer deliveries and maintaining internal databases. It would suit an individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while completing multiple tasks.


- Provide support to the sales team and warehouse to maintain high levels of customer service

- Prepare invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders

- Take responsibility for the preparation of transfer documentation

- Liaise with the warehouse to keep accurate records of stock levels

- Contact customers when required to provide updates on order status and respond to queries

- Complete and scan material test certificates

- Oversee the purchase of office supplies for the sales office and warehouse

- Maintain high standards of administrative accuracy


- Experience of administration or sales

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail

- Willingness to challenge the status quo and improve efficiency of processes

- Good IT literacy (Microsoft Office)

This role has the potential to progress into a sales role depending upon the performance and aptitude of the successful candidate. 

Sales Executive - Halifax and Bedford

We now have an excellent opportunity for dynamic individuals to join the company as a Sales Executive. This role involves developing new business and growing existing sales, with an emphasis on proactively identifying sales opportunities. It would suit a candidate who has experience of sales and a drive to engage with prospective customers.


- Actively participate in sales proactivity, including customer visits, under the guidance of the branch manager

- Develop new business and grow existing sales for the branch

- Deal with incoming enquiries to complete all aspects of the order process

- Work with internal resources to identify new business opportunities

- Provide regular feedback on sales performance and market trends

- Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements on a business and technical level


- Experience of sales within the B2B environment, preferably within the metal stockholding industry

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to think strategically and proactively identify new opportunities

- A demonstrable record of success in developing new business

- Willingness to travel when required

The successful applicant will ideally have a background in selling copper and nickel alloys. A demonstrable track record of success within the B2B environment would be an advantage.
