Sales Administrator - London

We now have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the company on a 6-month contract as Sales Administrator. This role involves supporting the sales team with incoming sales enquiries and taking responsibility for all administrative functions within the branch including order processing, customer deliveries and maintaining internal databases. It would suit an individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while completing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Deal with incoming customer enquiries to complete all aspects of the order process

- Work with internal resources to identify new business opportunities

- Provide support to the sales team and warehouse to maintain high levels of customer service

- Prepare invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders

- Contact customers when required to provide updates on order status and respond to queries

- Maintain high standards of administrative accuracy

Requirements:

- Experience of administration or sales

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail

- Willingness to challenge the status quo and improve efficiency of processes

- Good IT literacy (Microsoft Office)

This role is available for an initial 6 month period with a possibility of contract extension.

Sales Executive - Northampton

We now have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the company as a Sales Executive. This role involves developing new business and growing existing sales, with an emphasis on proactively identifying sales opportunities. It would suit a candidate who has experience of sales and a drive to engage with prospective customers.

Responsibilities:

- Actively participate in sales proactivity, including customer visits, under the guidance of the branch manager

- Develop new business and grow existing sales for the branch

- Deal with incoming enquiries to complete all aspects of the order process

- Work with internal resources to identify new business opportunities

- Provide regular feedback on sales performance and market trends

- Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements on a business and technical level

Requirements:

- Experience of sales within the B2B environment, preferably within the metal stockholding industry

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to think strategically and proactively identify new opportunities

- A demonstrable record of success in developing new business

- Willingness to travel when required

The successful applicant will ideally have a background in selling copper and nickel alloys. A demonstrable track record of success within the B2B environment would be an advantage.
